(Akron) – A worker at fast food restaurant in Akron prevented the store's second robbery this week, by surprising the robbers with a blast of hot water.
Akron police tell the Akron Beacon Journal the manager of Church’s Chicken on South Arlington was in the kitchen on Wednesday, and had a spray hose in his hand. When two men burst inside the back door, the manager grabbed the hose and blasted the bad guys with hot water.
One of the soaked bandits came back, and again, he got another faceful of water.
Akron police think these guys are the same ones who robbed the same Church’s Chicken last Sunday, and they're checking surveillance video.
